Southeast Florida (Miami) Chapter Updates

Southeast Florida Chapter Members Gathered in January 2024 at Historic Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach

The Southeast Florida TCC Chapter held its first meeting of 2024 by acting like tourists in their own backyard. Thirteen members went on an organized tour of the “Ancient Spanish Monastery” located in North Miami Beach. This hidden gem was originally built in 1133 in Sacramenia, Spain. In 1925 William Randolph Heart purchased the monastery and had it transported to the USA where it was eventually reconstructed. It is now considered the oldest building in North America. After the tour they enjoyed lunch at a nearby Japanese restaurtant.

Three continents (North America, Europe and Asia) and NO plane tickets in one afternoon. Another lovely way to enjoy travel.
