Bob Ihsen will give a presentation on the tribal states of northeastern India at the March 2013 Southern California luncheon in Laguna Beach. Bob taught history at Covina High School for more than 35 years – the same high school he graduated from in 1950. He made good use of his summer vacations traveling to countries around the world, and is currently at 272 on the TCC list. He retired from teaching, sort of, several years ago, but is still an adviser for the Scholarship Federation at Covina High. Meeting details:

Time: 11:30 a.m. – No Host Cocktails; 12:30 p.m. – Luncheon & Program

Cost: Members and guests, $50 per person; non-members (not guests), $75. Includes wine, tax and tip.

Menu: Choice of Blackened Mahi Mahi or Wood Grilled Pork Chop

Directions: From Los Angeles, take the 5 or 405 freeway south, exit right at Laguna Canyon Rd./133 So. towards Laguna Beach. Left South Coast Hgwy./CA-1; continue 1.2 miles. Left at Agate. From San Diego, take the 5 freeway north, exit CA-1 north (Exit 79) towards Beach Cities. Continue 8.7 miles north on Pacific Coast Highway. Right at Agate.
