Happy Summer! And Happy 30th Birthday to the Colorado TCC Chapter!
The July meeting of the Colorado Chapter of the Travelers’ Century Club will be held on Thursday, July 18, at the Imperial Chinese Restaurant (431 S. Broadway in Denver, telephone 303-698-2800).
A note about the restaurant: The personnel at the Imperial have always been very good to us, and they have requested that that each attendee have at least $15 in food and beverages.
Our Program: David VanTreuren will present Part II of his Mid-Atlantic cruise, featuring photos of Saint Helena, Ascension, and Tristan da Cunha, the world’s most remote inhabited island.
In April we were privileged to have J.D. Lewis as a guest speaker. We enjoyed his stores of traveling with his sons to all seven continents in one year, doing humanitarian work.
Our final meeting of 2019 will be on Oct. 17. I will give a short presentation on the “Highlights of Lebanon.” If you have traveled there, we would love to have you share your impressions of that country with the group.
I hope to see you on July 18 for celebration, good food and conversation.
Please let me know by Monday, July 15, if you can make it.
