Extra Special Venue for July 13 Texas/Oklahoma Chapter Meeting

Put this one on your calendars!!! You won’t want to miss it. The next meeting, which per the regular rotation would have been in Houston, will instead be at the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library Center in College Station. No politics are intended by selecting this venue, but it really is a wonderful place. In addition to our luncheon meeting, we encourage you to tour the library and museum before or after the meeting (hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Yes, we will all need to drive to the meeting, but it is sort of centrally located to the major clusters of our chapter members, and easily done as a day trip. I hope it will be as well attended by members from Dallas/Ft. Worth and Austin/San Antonio as from Houston. Rome2Rio.com says it is 1 hr 45 minute drive from Houston; a bit over 3 hours from Dallas; 2 hours from Austin; and 3 hours from San Antonio. Hey, in Texas that is not much more than driving to the grocery store, right?

A meeting invitation/RSVP with details will be sent in due course. The meeting room has space for 50, so let’s fill it up!!!
