Update From the January 2019 Texas/Oklahoma Chapter Meeting

Coordinator Paul Clites presents Platinum Level certificates to Barbara and P. Kay Champion.

Thirty members and prospective members of the Texas and Oklahoma TCC Chapter enjoyed a luncheon meeting at Cafe Blue in Bee Cave (Austin), Texas, on Jan. 12. Ann Marie Ellis shared an engaging narrative with photos of her time living in Oriente, Cuba. The historical transition from pre-Castro times to today gave members a new perspective of Cuba.

Geoff Connor shared experiences from trips in Pakistan. He focused on Lahore and Wagah, including the unique daily ritual when the border with India is closed for the night.

Jerry Allen presented a great photographic story and narrative of a trip to Iguazu Falls on the Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay tri-border.

Also honored is Larry Mathis, who received his Gold Level certificate for having traveled to 200 TCC countries.
