The Pacific Northwest Chapter met in Seattle on May 20 for a talk on “Country Collecting With Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan.” New and prospective members were welcomed by the regulars. It was eye-opening that Seattle’s “hometown airline” has so many international partners and routing rules such as free stopovers on one-way awards that are valuable when country and island hopping.
The next PNW meeting will be at the end of summer.
