Members and friends of the Travelers Century Club of New England gathered for a “two worlds in one” dinner at the Vlora Albanian Restaurant near Boston’s Copley Square on Wednesday, October 12. Mark Kosmo, a leader of the Albanian-American community in Boston, talked to the group about Albania before dinner. After dinner, Chie Goto, discussed Japan’s recovery in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami. In addition to our two guest speakers, the members shared many travel tales and we enjoyed some delicious Albanian dishes. Falemnderit and Arigato gozaimasu to all!
