The Kansas City Chapter met at Trezo Mare restaurant on Sept. 27 with an attendance of 31 members and guests. An informative program and slide presentation on Cuba was presented by Mr. Charles Merkel. He had just recently toured the country.

The travel trivia question of the day was: Recently a budget Indian airline, Go, announced they would no longer hire male flight attendants. Why? (The answer: As females generally weigh less than males, the airline can save money on fuel ). A bottle of Merlot was won by retired Circuit Judge Tom Clark. We were especially delighted to welcome a guest from the New York TCC chapter, Ross Frisbie. He was visiting family in Kansas City, and saw our meeting notice published in The Centurion.

The next two meetings are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 6, and Friday, March 28, at 11:30 a.m. at the same restaurant.
